Bradford Arson Tragedy: Woman and Three Kids Die in Deliberate Blaze
A horrific house fire in Bradford has ended in heartbreak after a woman and three children died. Police suspect arson in the early hours of Wednesday and have arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

- Fire broke out at a Westbury Road home just after 2am.
- A 29-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Three children — two girls aged one and nine, and a five-year-old boy — were rushed to hospital but later died.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the suspect was caught at the scene and is critically ill in hospital after sustaining injuries during the fire.

“This is an absolutely devastating incident in which three children and a woman have lost their lives,” said Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Atkinson.
“Our thoughts remain with their family, friends and loved ones.”
She described the fire as deliberate and said early inquiries suggest the incident is domestic-related.
