Thief Swipes £1,800 Worth of Ink Cartridges from Sainsbury’s
Police are on the hunt after a crook made off with a haul of ink cartridges worth over £1,800 from Sainsbury’s in Newbury.

At around 11:40am on Thursday 7 March, a man walked into the Sainsbury’s store on Hectors Way carrying a cool bag. Without paying, he helped himself to several ink cartridges before casually walking out.
Police Appeal: Spot This Ink Thief?
Thames Valley Police have released CCTV images of the suspect and are keen to speak to anyone who recognises him. PC Louise Eaton of the Smarter Resolution team said:
“I am releasing these images as I believe the person in the CCTV footage may have vital information that could assist my investigation.”
She urged the public to come forward: “If you recognise this person, please call 101 quoting reference 43190079022. Alternatively, you can anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or report online.”
