Drive-By Shooting Shakes Quinton: Police Hunt Three Masked E-Bike Riders

Shocking scenes unfolded in Quinton, Birmingham, on Sunday, 10 September, as a masked gunman on a scrambler-style e-bike opened fire on a white Lexus on Quinton Road West at around 5.45pm. Two other masked riders on similar bikes were also involved, making it a terrifying drive-by shooting in broad daylight.

Police Release Images of Suspects—Can You ID Them?

Police have now released images of three suspects they want to track down. The pictures aren’t crystal clear, but officers hope locals will recognise the riders. Authorities are also urging the occupants of the white Lexus to come forward with information.

Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, leading the Major Crime Team, said: “This happened in broad daylight, on a busy main road. It’s truly shocking. We’re doing everything possible to catch those responsible.”

CCTV Footage Plea: Police Ask Residents to Check Their Cameras

The investigation is in full swing, with police scouring CCTV from nearby streets to piece together what happened. Det Insp Cordell is calling on everyone in the area to check their home security, dash-cams, and doorbell cameras for any footage that could help.

She added, “If you live, work, or visit around Quinton Road West, please check your cameras. Even the smallest snippet could be crucial.” A dedicated online portal (https://example-link.com) has been set up for uploading any related videos or images.

Community on Edge as Police Boost Patrols and Plan Public Meeting

While a separate incident in Ridgmond Croft on Saturday is not linked, local residents remain uneasy. Inspector Jason Wathes has assured the public that extra officers from the traffic and priority crime teams are out in force to tackle concerns.

Inspector Wathes said, “Crime has gone down in the area overall, but we understand people’s fears after this shooting. We’re arranging a community meeting soon so everyone can voice their concerns directly to us.”

If you have any information or footage about the shooting, contact police on 101 or via 1 Chat, quoting crime reference number 20/791074/23. Let’s catch these masked bikers before they strike again.
