Man Brutally Attacked with Wood in Broad Daylight

Violent Assault on New Year’s Eve

At around 5.50pm on Friday, December 31, 2021, a man in his 40s was viciously attacked on Northdown Road, near Cliftonville Avenue. The suspect, reportedly armed with a piece of wood and flanked by two accomplices, knocked the victim to the ground and launched a savage beating.

Victim Hospitalised with Serious Injuries

The victim suffered head and body injuries severe enough to require hospital treatment. Authorities say the victim and suspect had spoken earlier inside a nearby kebab shop before the assault.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Kent Police are calling for anyone who saw the attack or the earlier interaction in the kebab shop to come forward. Witnesses are urged to contact officers urgently.
