Man in 50s Airlifted After Moped Crash on A229
A Piaggio Vespa moped crashed on the A229 near Salts Avenue in Loose at around 5.55pm on Sunday, 25 September 2022. No other vehicles are believed to be involved.
Serious Injuries Confirmed
Emergency crews, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service and an air ambulance, rushed to the scene. The rider, a man in his 50s, was flown to a London hospital with serious injuries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is on the case. They want anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
