Jack Grealish’s Cheshire Mansion Raided in £1 Million Jewelry Heist

The family of Manchester City star Jack Grealish faced terror on Wednesday night when robbers broke into their Cheshire mansion, sparking fears of a possible hostage situation. Thieves made off with £1 million worth of watches and jewellery belonging to the 28-year-old football ace.

Family Trapped Inside During Raid

At the time of the break-in, Grealish’s fiancée Sasha Atwood, parents, grandparents, two sisters, and brother were all downstairs, glued to the TV watching the Man City vs Everton Premier League showdown. The peaceful evening turned to panic when noises upstairs and frantic barking from the family dogs signalled intruders were inside.

The family immediately dialled 999, fearing the worst. A source revealed, “An 123 live on TV and all his family had gathered downstairs to cheer him on. No one was injured but there was a lot of panic. Everyone was terrified as they were all so vulnerable.”

Police Launch High-Alert Response

Officers arrived swiftly, deploying multiple police cars, sniffer dogs, and a National Police Air Service helicopter to scour the huge property. Cheshire Police confirmed the raid, saying:

“At around 9.50 pm on Wednesday, December 27, police were called to reports of a burglary. The caller reported that several items had been stolen. Officers supported by police dogs and National Police Air Service were deployed, and searches were conducted in the local area, but there was no trace of the suspects.”

Grealish Returns to Support Family

Jack, who helped Man City clinch victory over Everton that night, rushed home after the game to comfort his shaken family. He was later seen inspecting the grounds of the sprawling mansion, which he and his family had only moved into shortly before Christmas.

The shock of the raid was worsened by the family’s unfamiliarity with the vast house, delaying detection of the intruders until the dogs raised the alarm and the security panic system was triggered.

For now, police remain on the hunt for the criminals behind the £1 million smash-and-grab at one of football’s biggest stars’ homes.
