Paula Barker, Labour MP for liverpool/" title="Liverpool" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Liverpool Wavertree, quit her shadow cabinet role to back a ceasefire. As former Shadow Minister for Devolution and the English Regions, Barker said she was driven by conscience.

“I felt compelled to support a ceasefire,” Barker declared.
