Man Seriously Injured After Bus Collision in Kent
A man has suffered life-changing injuries after being hit by a bus in Kent on Monday. The crash took place on Priestfields, near the junction with Borstal Street, in the village of Borstal, close to Rochester.
Heroic Locals Rush to Aid Victim
Witnesses heard the collision and rushed outside with towels to help the injured man before paramedics arrived. It’s understood the man was struck directly by the bus.
Emergency Response and Ongoing Investigation
South East Coast ambulance paramedics treated the victim at the scene before airlifting him to King’s College Hospital. His condition remains serious.
Scene of crime officers and collision investigators have spent the morning examining the bus and photographing the scene. A man in a red jacket was seen near the rear of the vehicle.
The road remains closed while the investigation continues.
