A triple stabbing rocked Walworth Market this morning, November 10, leaving one man dead and two others injured. The horrific attack happened around 10:40 a.m. near Walworth Road.
One Dead, Two Hospitalised
Emergency crews from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. They found three victims with stab wounds. Tragically, one man was pronounced dead at the scene. A man and a woman were taken to hospital, but their conditions remain unclear.
Police Arrest Man in His 60s
Officers quickly detained a man in his 60s in connection with the stabbing. He is currently in police custody as detectives launch a full investigation. Police are working to identify the deceased and notify his family.
Commander Peter Stevens, Metropolitan Police: “Tragically, a man lost his life this morning. Our investigation is at an early stage. One man was swiftly arrested and no one else is being sought at this time.”
Not Terrorism, Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the stabbing is not being treated as terrorism. The Specialist Crime team is leading the probe.
Commander Stevens appealed to the public for help: “Thanks to those who have come forward. We urge anyone with information, footage, or who witnessed the attack but hasn’t spoken to police yet, to get in touch.”
