After Devon and Cornwall Police made a public appeal earlier this week, they were hit with a “significant number of calls” from members of the public eager to help. Inspector Katy Deer, leading the investigation, said:
“Following our appeal on Monday, we have received a lot of calls in relation to this investigation. We would like to thank all those who have come forward with information. Enquiries are ongoing.”
31-Year-Old Plymouth Man Held
Officers confirmed a 31-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. He remains in custody while inquiries continue amid stepped-up patrols in the area to reassure the public.
