Mitcham Stabbing Shocker: Man Arrested After Violent Brawl
Detectives have swooped after a brutal stabbing in Mitcham. The drama unfolded at noon on Tuesday, 21 May, when police were called to Lammas Avenue, CR4, following reports of two men fighting.
Victim Hospitalised But Out of Danger
Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. A 20-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his arm and leg. He was rushed to a west London hospital where his injuries were initially critical but are now not life threatening.
Suspect Held on Attempted Murder Charge
The very next day, a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently in custody at a north London police station. Authorities also put a Section 60 order in place to prevent further violence in the area.
