Man Dies After Setting Car on Fire in Shocking Bookham Blast

A man tragically died after dousing himself in petrol and setting his car ablaze in a terrifying blaze that rocked a busy Bookham car park. The horrific explosion unfolded in front of horrified shoppers at the Lower Shott car park, near the High Street, on Monday afternoon.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of a man with serious injuries and a vehicle on fire. The victim was airlifted to hospital but sadly passed away the following afternoon. Witnesses are likely to be deeply traumatised by the grim incident.
