Young Man Shot Dead on Edmonton Street

A man in his mid-20s was gunned down on a north London street last night. The Met Police were called to Beaconsfield Road, Edmonton, N9 at around 9pm after reports of a shooting.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene just before 10pm.

Gunman Still on the Run

Officers have sealed off the area, with a heavy police presence guarding the crime scene. So far, no arrests have been made.

A police source described the victim as “a little angel in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Witness Account Paints Grim Picture

A witness reported that the shooter chased the victim in a car, then jumped out and fired a shot to the victim’s chest before fleeing the scene.
