The 40-year-old victim got into a verbal clash with a known man before the suspect jumped into his car and hit him.

Victim Hospitalised but Now Home

The injured man was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged. Meanwhile, cops have arrested a 40-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.

“Police were called at around 8.20pm on Sunday, 14 December to Foots Cray High Street, Sidcup following reports of a man injured,” a Met Police spokesperson said.

“It is understood the victim was involved in an altercation with a man known to him. After a verbal exchange, the second man got into a car which struck the victim.”

“The victim has been discharged from hospital. A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.”
