A woman out with her two young children saw the horror unfold. She told police the man was brutally attacked and kicked several times while lying on the ground. Bystanders, including a man with a dog, tried to intervene but couldn’t stop the vicious assault.
Life-Saving Treatment at the Scene
The air ambulance landed just after 9pm in nearby Mote Park. Doctors used life-saving equipment to sedate the man before he was intubated and flown straight to a London hospital. A police officer accompanied him in the ambulance during the urgent journey.
