Man, 60, Dies After Assault at Hayes Care Home

Late Monday night, tragedy struck at an adult care facility in Lansbury Drive, Hayes. Police were called at around 11.50pm on 2 January after reports of a man being assaulted.

Emergency Services Respond

Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. Despite their desperate efforts, the 60-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the facility. His next of kin have been informed, and a post-mortem will be arranged soon.

Suspect Arrested and Homicide Investigation Underway

A 44-year-old man, also a resident at the care home, was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene. He remains in custody at a West London police station. The Met’s Specialist Crime Command homicide detectives are leading the probe.
