Knife-Wielding Mugger Snatches Electric Scooter in Brighton!
Shocking attack on a man riding his electric mobility scooter in Brighton last Sunday evening.
Knife Threat in Broad Daylight
At around 7.45pm on Sunday 1 March, a man cruising along Elm Grove near Washington Street was ambushed. A white, slim, tall suspect brandished a knife and demanded the scooter. Terrified, the man handed it over, and the thug sped away on the stolen ride.
Suspect on the Run
Sussex Police were quick to respond but have yet to catch the brazen scooter thief. The attacker wore a blue puffa jacket, a blue baseball cap, and light-coloured jeans.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Sussex Police spokesperson urged anyone who witnessed the mugging or has CCTV footage to come forward. Call 101 or report online, quoting serial 1156 of 01/03.
