Tragedy in Dagenham as man dies in brutal stabbing attack in the early hours.
Emergency Called to Rothwell Gardens
Police were called by London Ambulance Service at around 1:30am on Saturday, 20 April, after a man was found suffering stab wounds in Rothwell Gardens, Dagenham.
Second Victim Found Critically Injured
Officers quickly traced a second man with critical stab injuries on nearby Flamstead Road. Despite heroic efforts by emergency services, the 23-year-old victim died at the scene.
Police Close In on Suspect
The Met believe they know the identity of the attacker and are urgently trying to inform the victim’s family. Detectives from Specialist Crime, supported by local police, are leading the hunt.
