Suicide Drama on Vauxhall Bridge Sparks Major Emergency Response
Emergency services scrambled to Vauxhall Bridge tonight after a man climbed over the railings, threatening to take his own life just before 10pm.
Multiple Crews Race to Scene
The UK Coastguard received frantic calls at 9:50pm reporting the man’s worrying behaviour. Police, London Fire Brigade, London Coastguard Rescue Team, and paramedics all raced to the scene to intervene.
Officers Talk Down Man from Edge
Witnesses say police are currently engaging with the distressed individual in a bid to prevent a tragedy. The man reportedly climbed onto the wrong side of the bridge railings, sparking fears for his life.
The Metropolitan Police have been contacted but have yet to issue a statement on the ongoing incident.
