Emergency crews scrambled early this morning, 12 October, after a man was spotted struggling in the River Thames at Brentford.

With the man in obvious distress, quick-thinking members of the public teamed up with RNLI crews to haul him out of the water.

He was swiftly taken to hospital by ambulance and police. Luckily, medics say he’s expected to make a full recovery after receiving prompt medical care.
