Man Shot and Five Arrested in Lewisham False Imprisonment Drama
Police sprang into action just before 4am on Saturday, February 9 after reports of a man armed with a gun near Lewisham Road, SE13. Witnesses also feared for a woman’s safety at a nearby address.
Gunfire and Arrests on Lewisham Road
Armed officers swooped and stopped a vehicle close to Blackheath Hill. During the intervention, police discharged a firearm. A man in his 20s was shot and rushed to a south London hospital. Thankfully, his injury is not life-threatening. He has since been arrested.
