Police Hunt Man Caught on CCTV Using Stolen Bank Card in Southampton

Police are on the lookout for a man spotted on CCTV using a stolen bank card in Southampton. The card was swiped at a Sainsbury’s store on Bedford Place between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday, 16 August.

Burglary Link Sparks Urgent Appeal

The bank card had been reported stolen after a burglary earlier that morning in the Polygon area of Southampton. Officers want to speak to the man in connection with both crimes.

  • Turquoise blue t-shirt
  • Red shorts
  • Grey trainers with pink laces
  • Sunglasses worn on head
  • Carrying black backpack

“Did you see this man in the store around this time or do you know who he is?” said PC Kimberly Duncan from the Western Investigation Team.
