Shock Collision in Southampton Leaves Pedestrian Fighting for Life
Police are hunting witnesses after a serious crash involving a pedestrian and a black BMW 535 in Southampton.
Man’s Life in the Balance
The incident happened at around 4.15pm on Friday, December 2, on The Avenue near Rockstone Place. A 29-year-old man was hit by the car and suffered life-threatening injuries.
He was rushed to Southampton General Hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police Plea for Witnesses
PC Aaron Smith urged anyone who saw the collision or the moments leading up to it to come forward.
“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at this time and witnessed the collision between the car and the man. In addition, we want to know what happened just before the crash,” said PC Smith.
