Armed Thugs Hijack Delivery Van in Brighton
Police are hunting two armed men who snatched a van in a brazen robbery in Brighton. The daring daylight heist happened in Wayland Avenue, Withdean, just before noon on Monday, December 18.
Van Driver Threatened Mid-Delivery
The driver of a white Ford Transit was making a routine delivery when he was confronted by the pair. The suspects forced him out, stole the van, and made off – leaving the driver shaken but unharmed.
Before the robbery, the van had stopped on Dyke Road and then took a route through Tongdean Drive to Wayland Avenue.
Descriptions of the Suspects
- Suspect One: Slender white male, around 5’8”, short brown hair. Last seen wearing a brown jacket, yellow T-shirt, navy trousers, and a black beanie with a red 3M logo.
- Suspect Two: Athletic build, also about 5’8” with short brown hair. Dressed in a blue denim jacket with white wool collar, white T-shirt, light blue trousers, and a gold necklace.
Call for Witnesses
