Met Police hunt two thugs after terrifying Holloway gunpoint attack
Man bashed and robbed at gunpoint in B&Q car park
Detectives have launched a hunt for two men caught on CCTV following a brutal assault in Holloway. On Monday 14 July, just after 11.30am, a 33-year-old man was sitting in his car at the B&Q car park on Holloway Road, fresh from the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park.
Suddenly, two suspects approached him. One allegedly smashed him on the head with a firearm. They threatened the victim and demanded his jewellery before snatching £200 in cash and a pair of sunglasses. The man suffered serious head injuries and was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service. Thankfully, while he was taken to hospital, his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police hunt men on yellow e-bike and in black hoodies
The Met has released CCTV images of the suspects and needs the public’s help to ID them. The first suspect was seen riding a distinctive yellow electric bike. Described as a Black man, around 6ft tall, slim build, and in his 30s, he wore a grey and black tracksuit, black trainers, and a black baseball cap.
The second man, believed to have carried out the assault, is also Black, around 6ft tall with an average build and in his 30s. He dressed entirely in black, sporting a hood and a face covering.

Detectives urge anyone with information to speak up. If you recognise the men or have any details, contact the Met immediately to help bring these thugs to justice.
