Later, at about 9pm in Denmark Street, a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were pelted with eggs by a group of young troublemakers before they took off.
Minutes later, around 9.15pm, a 39-year-old woman driving on Norreys Avenue had eggs thrown at her car.
The spat of vandalism wrapped up with a bang at 10.30pm on Outfield Crescent when youths were spotted chucking traffic cones into the road, causing chaos and danger for drivers.
