The victim confronted a man suspected of stealing several bottles of spirits. In response, the suspect grabbed one of the bottles and repeatedly smashed it over the guard’s head before making a swift escape.
Police Release New CCTV Images in Hunt for Suspect
kent-police/" title="Kent Police">Kent Police issued an urgent appeal on 19 October, revealing CCTV pictures of a man they want to track down. Fresh images recovered from a train traveling from Tonbridge to Charing Cross show the same suspect – along with a woman believed to be accompanying him.
DC Jo Slevin of West Kent CID said: “We know that the man pictured got off the train at 1 Bridge and we believe he was travelling with a woman, who is also shown. It is important we identify them, and we continue to urge anyone who may have information to contact us.”
