Sexual Assault on Inverness to Glasgow Train – Police Hunt Witnesses

Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted aboard a train from Inverness to Glasgow.

Incident Details

The attack took place shortly after 5.30pm on Saturday 14 May. The victim was travelling on the train when a man, believed to be among football fans on board, approached her and sat beside her. He offered her alcohol before inappropriately touching her. The woman firmly replied, “no thanks.”

The man stayed seated, continuing to try and communicate with her. Then, shockingly, he kissed her on the cheek and said, “I 1 you,” before swiftly leaving the carriage.
