Man Caught Red-Handed in Brompton Lane Burglary
At 4.32pm on Sunday, January 8, Kent Police sprang into action after a burglary was reported in progress on Brompton Lane. A man was spotted breaking into a house through the back door.
Quick-Thinking Cops Nab Suspect
Officers from Medway’s Community Policing Team arrived swiftly and spotted a man fitting the description loitering nearby. They arrested the 22-year-old from Gillingham on suspicion of burglary.
Stolen Goods Found on Suspect
When searched, the man was found with items stolen from the property. He was then taken to Medway Police Station.
The suspect has been bailed until March 4 as the investigation continues.
