Early Morning Blaze Leaves Four Cars Damaged in Oldham

A man seen on CCTV strolling down Anchor Street just before 5am on Monday, 9 May, is at the centre of a deliberate fire investigation. The blaze damaged four cars, but luckily no one was hurt.

Police Hunt Suspect Caught on Camera

Police Constable Sarah Holland from GMP’s Oldham district said: “This was a deliberate act that fortunately didn’t result in any injuries. We are keen to speak to the person in the CCTV or anyone who was in the area at the time who may have some information.”

Police have made no arrests and enquiries are ongoing. The search for the arsonist is on.
