11-Year-Old Girl Attacked Near Shops in Intake

Shock in Intake after an 11-year-old girl was grabbed by a stranger near Montrose Avenue shops at around 5.30pm on Saturday, 31 July. The victim quickly ran off and alerted police.

Police Hunt Man Caught on CCTV

Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Leach said the investigation is ongoing and promised to leave no stone unturned. She revealed:

“We are now in a position to release a CCTV image of a man we want to speak to in connection with this incident. We believe he holds vital information about what happened that afternoon.”

Community Urged to Come Forward

The officer added: “Understandably, this was an upsetting incident for the victim. We urge anyone who saw anything to get in touch.”
