11-Year-Old Girl Escapes Grabbing Incident in Intake
A terrifying moment unfolded at 5.30pm on Saturday, 31 July, when an 11-year-old girl was approached and grabbed by an unknown man near the shops on Montrose Avenue, Intake. The quick-thinking youngster ran off and alerted police immediately.
Police Urge Public to Help Identify Suspect
Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Leach said: “Enquiries are ongoing, and we are exploring every avenue to find the man responsible. We’ve now released a CCTV image of a man we want to speak to who might have key information about the incident.”
Community Appeal for Witnesses
DCI Leach added: “This was a distressing experience for the young victim. We urge anyone who saw anything to get in touch.”
