Terrifying Attack on Main Road: Man in His 20s Hospitalised After Violent Assault
Victim Punched, Stamped and Threatened with Knife
Just after 6.20pm on Saturday, 10 June 2023, a man in his 20s was viciously attacked on Main Road. Three men confronted him, allegedly punching and stamping on him. One attacker even lunged with a knife. The victim suffered serious injuries to his face, head, and back, needing hospital treatment.
Police Hunt Three Suspects After Brutal Assault
PC Stuart Drakeley from Sittingbourne CID revealed that police have interviewed two possible suspects—both local men in their 20s—following CCTV reviews and door-to-door inquiries. “They remain under investigation,” said PC Drakeley.
“The third suspect is still at large. We’ve spoken to several witnesses but believe others with key information have yet to come forward.”
