Thief Targets Elderly Man’s Home in Southampton

Early bird burglary strikes in Southampton’s North East Close. Between 6.30am and 6.40am, a young woman knocked on a back door, asking to use the toilet. The occupant, a man in his 70s, kindly let her in – but soon after, valuables vanished.

Stolen Phone and Gold Crucifix

After the mysterious visitor left, the man discovered his blue Huawei P30 worth £300 and a £100 gold crucifix necklace had disappeared. The missing phone’s unique ID is 868161041502791.

Police Hunt Woman with Cold Sore

Officers are urging anyone with info to step forward. The suspect is:

  • White female, aged 19-25
  • About 5ft 6ins tall, slim build
  • Dark brown hair with a noticeable cold sore
  • Wearing a dark blouse or jacket, ripped jeans, and soft shoes or trainers
  • Believed to have connections to Portsmouth
