Early Morning Blaze Hits Allhallows Outbuilding
In the wee hours of Thursday, January 18, 2024, Kent Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action after reports of a fire broke out in an outbuilding on Avery Way, Allhallows, Rochester.
Firefighters Race to Tackle Flames
Three fire engines roared to the scene. Firefighters, decked out in breathing apparatus, launched a high-pressure hose reel assault to douse the flames. Their swift and skilled response quickly brought the fire under control.
One Treated, No Serious Injuries
As a safety precaution, one person was given oxygen and checked over by crews. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
Electrical Fault Likely Cause
Early investigations point to an accidental spark from an electrical fault as the cause of the blaze.
