Dashcam Footage Wanted After Fatal Crash in Whitstable
Police are hunting for dashcam footage following a deadly collision on the A2990, Old Thanet Way, Whitstable. The crash happened at 7.31pm on Friday, 1 March 2019, involving a white Ford Kuga and a black Suzuki motorcycle.
Motorcyclist Killed in Horror Smash
The Suzuki rider, a man in his 70s, was heading towards Whitstable from Herne Bay when he reportedly lost control and fell off his bike. Moments later, he was hit by the Ford Kuga.
Tragically, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for anyone driving in the area around the time of the crash who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
