Man Stabbed in Early Morning Attack in Carshalton

Police are hunting for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Carshalton at the crack of dawn. Officers and the London Ambulance Service were called to Wrythe Lane, SM5, at 4.30am on Monday, 28 May following reports of a stabbing.

Victim in Hospital but Stable

On arrival, emergency teams found a man in his forties with stab wounds. He was rushed to a south London hospital and is currently in a stable condition.

Suspect on the Loose

The attack is thought to have happened at a property after the victim met the suspect. Police describe the suspect as a black male, aged 20-30, medium build, with short black hair. So far, no arrests have been made.
