Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Chatham Crash

Collision investigators are hunting for witnesses after a motorbike crash left a young rider badly hurt in Chatham.

Crash Details: Kawasaki Collides with Toyota Rav4

The collision happened around 8pm on Friday, 15 May 2020, on Maidstone Road near the Port Rise junction. A green and black Kawasaki motorbike, ridden by a man in his 20s from Rochester, collided with a white Toyota Rav4. The motorbike was heading into Chatham town centre, while the Toyota was travelling the opposite way.

The rider remains in a London hospital in a serious condition.

Police Seek Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the crash and wants to hear from anyone with information, including dash cam or CCTV footage from just before the incident.
