Masked Thugs Steal Necklace and Cash from Teen Girl in Rotherham
Police in Rotherham are hunting three masked men who mugged a 15-year-old girl in broad daylight.
Robbery in Fenton Woods
The shocking theft happened just before 5pm on August 31 near Munsbrough Lane, Fenton Woods. The trio approached the youngster, threatened her, then snatched her necklace and some cash before vanishing.
Suspects Described
South Yorkshire Police have released details of the suspects, all described as muscular and wearing balaclavas and tracksuit bottoms:
- Man, about 5’10”, in a burgundy Nike tech fleece, gloves, balaclava, and black tracksuit bottoms.
- Black male, roughly 5’8″, in a black hoodie, balaclava, and black tracksuit bottoms.
- White male, around 5’10”, wearing a green Nike tech fleece, balaclava, and black tracksuit bottoms.
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are urging anyone who was near Fenton Woods last Saturday afternoon to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be vital to our investigation.”
