Motorcyclist Killed in Horror Crash on Tonbridge Road, Barming
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal crash in Barming, near Maidstone, on Tuesday, December 24.
Tragic Collision Near The Bull Inn
The smash happened just before 2:25pm on Tonbridge Road, close to The Bull Inn. A white Honda 125cc motorbike, heading towards Wateringbury, smashed into a lamppost.
Emergency crews, including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. The rider, a man in his 40s, was airlifted to a London hospital but sadly died from his injuries. His family have been informed.
Police Launch Witness Appeal
Officers are asking anyone who saw the crash or events leading up to it to come forward. In particular, they need:
- Witnesses who caught sight of the collision.
- Local residents with CCTV footage from the area around the time.
- Drivers with dashcam footage on Tonbridge Road.
