Junaid Hamayun, 17, disappeared without a trace after leaving his home for college in Derbyshire on Friday, 8 October 2021. He never returned that day, sparking a worrying search.

On 17 December 2021, the investigation was handed over to the Met Police after reports placed Junaid in Southall, Ealing. Despite extensive CCTV checks, officers have found no new leads.
Detectives are puzzled about why Junaid might have travelled all the way to Ealing. He has no known connections or friends in London, and it remains unclear if he has moved on since.
