£25,000 Worth of Bicycles Stolen in Longforgan Raid
Thieves struck on Main Street, Longforgan, breaking into a shed and making off with five high-end bikes between midnight and 4am on Wednesday, 9 March.
Five Fancy Bikes Swiped in Midnight Break-In
Burglars forced entry to a shed where the bicycles were stored, grabbing the lot along with cycling gear including helmets, intercom systems, and gloves. The stolen haul is valued at over £25,000.
Details of the Stolen Bikes
- Ibis Mojo SL Raw Carbon – Features a red DW rear suspension linkage, white Fizik Gobi seat, Rock Shock, Crossmax SLR forks, and a Garmin 305 GPS bike computer.
- Scott Genius 700 Tuned – Raw carbon with neon orange, red and grey lettering, Fox34 Kashima forks, and chunky 3-inch tyres with white sidewalls.
- Cube Stereo 160 Team Edition – Blue and orange gloss raw carbon, equipped with XTR clip pedals, gold crank retaining pin, and Kasima-coated suspension.
- Cube Stereo 140 – Carbon frame in matt black with red accents, Crank Brother mallet pedals, black and gold Peaty grips, and gold-finished forks.
- Whyte 605 – White frame with aqua stem and hub accents, fitted with orthopaedic grips.
Police Appeal for Information
