Woman in 30s Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run on Higher Cambridge Street
Just after midnight this Sunday, a grey Volkswagen Polo struck a pedestrian on Higher Cambridge Street, near Boundary Street West. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was rushed to hospital and remains in a critical condition.
Police Launch Serious Collision Probe
PC Phil Drummond from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the woman and her family as we continue our investigation.” He added that the driver is cooperating but urged the public to come forward.
Dashcam Footage Urgently Needed
Officers are appealing to anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the crash to get in touch.
