Man in his 50s Stabbed in Broad Daylight on Walnut Street
Police were scrambled to Walnut Street just before 4pm yesterday following reports of a brutal assault.
Victim Hospitalised with Serious Stab Wounds
The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered multiple stab injuries described as serious. He was rushed to hospital and is now in a stable condition. Police launched an immediate investigation and are hunting for the attackers.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Detective Sergeant Steve Craig of East CID urged the public to help. “This incident has left a man with some very serious injuries and he is lucky to be alive,” Craig said. “If you saw anything, recorded it on your phone, dashcam or CCTV, please come forward as a matter of urgency.”
Suspects Identified: Three Asian Men in Their 20s
- First suspect: bald or shaved head, medium build, average height, wearing a dark bubble gilet and white short-sleeved t-shirt
- Second suspect: dressed in dark clothing
- Third suspect: wearing a black Nike Air top
