Teen Arrested Over Fatal Stabbing in Typhoon Way
A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal stabbing in Typhoon Way. The teenager remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
42-Year-Old Man Dies After Stabbing
Police were called to the scene at around 9pm on Monday, 2 October, after reports of a man suffering stab wounds outside a property. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, arrived quickly and treated the 42-year-old victim at the scene. Despite their efforts, he sadly died from his injuries.
The victim’s family has been informed.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage
Detective Chief Inspector Mike Nolan, leading the case for the Met’s Specialist Crime unit, said:
“This arrest marks a significant development in our investigation but we still need the help of the local community and wider public. I would appeal to anyone who has information but has yet to get in contact with police to do so immediately. I would also reiterate my request for those in the area to check doorbell footage or any other cameras and see if you have captured something which may be of interest.”
A post-mortem is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.

Meanwhile, a 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill. She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
