Woman Attacked and Robbed in Leeds Park at Knife Point
A woman walking her dog in Leeds was dragged to the ground and threatened with a knife in a terrifying robbery on Friday night.
Attack Near Quarry Lane Football Changing Rooms
The shock assault took place around 8:40pm on 4 December near the Quarry Lane entrance to the park. Two men accosted the lone woman, pulled her to the floor, and brandished a bladed weapon.
They then stole several valuable rings, including her cherished engagement ring.
Heavily Sentimental Jewellery Stolen
DC Dan Johnson of Leeds District Crime Team said:
“This was a particularly nasty attack against a lone female. The two attackers stole a number of items of jewellery including a ring with significant sentimental value. I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone offered any of the items for sale to come forward.”
Suspect Descriptions
- Male 1: White, early 20s, about 5’10”. Local Leeds accent. Dark hair, brown eyebrows, dirty hands and nails. Wearing a hooded top, jogging bottoms tucked into socks, dark Nike trainers, and a curved gold or silver chain.
- Male 2: White, wearing jeans, possibly with a fleck of ginger hair, and possibly wearing a hat.
Stolen Jewellery Details
- Platinum gold engagement ring with a square diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds.
- Thick silver Tiffany band with a curved shape and Tiffany script.
- White gold ring with a light blue stone and small diamonds around it.
- Plain diamond white gold band.
