Knife Attack on Night Bus Leaves Man Critical in East London
Blade Drama on Route N25
Police rushed to Mile End Road, E8 just after midnight on Wednesday, 20 October. They responded to reports of a man brandishing a knife aboard a Route N25 night bus.
Victims Suffer Stab and Slash Wounds
Officers found a 34-year-old man with serious stab wounds and gave emergency first aid at the scene. The victim was rushed by ambulance to a local East London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Two more men, aged 34 and 22, were also taken to hospital for slash injuries. Fortunately, their wounds aren’t life-threatening.
Suspect Caught and Held
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm at the scene. He is now in custody at an East London police station as investigations continue.
