Serious Three-Car Smash on Mansfield Road
A nasty three-car crash rocked the A60 near Papplewick at around 2.55pm, sending shockwaves through the area.
Two Women Seriously Injured, Others Hurt
Police rushed to the scene where two women in one vehicle suffered serious injuries. They were hospitalised and are now on the road to recovery. Occupants from the other two cars escaped with minor injuries but were also treated in hospital.
Police Hunt for Key Witnesses and Red Audi
Detective Constable Liah Lane, from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, spoke out:
“This was a serious incident and we are currently working to understand what happened. We would really like to hear from anyone in the area or on that road before or after the incident occurred. We would especially like to hear from anyone who saw a red Audi or has any dash cam footage.”
She urged witnesses to come forward: “Any witnesses who are yet to come forward are asked to call 101 quoting incident 471 of 7 April 2023.”
