Man Fighting for Life After Brutal Attack in Brighton Park
Victim Found Injured on Whitebeam Road
Police were called to Whitebeam Road just before 7:30pm on Sunday, April 4, after a man was discovered injured in the street. It’s believed he was attacked in nearby Longcroft Park.
Four Men Arrested After Fast Police Action
The victim was rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and remains in a life-threatening condition.
Officers quickly launched an investigation and arrested four men connected to the assault. They are currently in custody.
Police Boost Patrols as Investigation Continues
The police say this is an isolated incident but have increased patrols in the area to reassure residents.

Anyone who saw the attack or was in Longcroft Park around the time is urged to contact police online or call 101, quoting Operation Swallowtail.
