12 Border Collie Puppies Stolen in Brazen Farm Break-In
Early this morning at Parsonage Farm in Bramshaw, New Forest, heartless thieves struck. After returning from lambing, farm staff discovered that twelve Border Collie puppies and a breeding dog had been snatched in a daring raid.
Thieves Raid Farm Buildings in Dead of Night
At around 1:40am, seven suspects were spotted prowling the farmyard. They broke into multiple farm buildings, supposedly hunting for machinery. Instead, they made off with a black and white collie bitch and her three-day-old pups, plus six five-week-old puppies – all without their mother.
“A black and white collie bitch and her 3-day old pups have been stolen from Parsonage Farm, Bramshaw, New Forest. We need to find them! The puppies need a heat lamp and will die if they get cold. Also stolen, 6 x 5 weeks old collie pups WITHOUT their mother.”
Police Urge Locals to Stay Vigilant
Hampshire Police are appealing for information, acknowledging the impact on the rural community.
“We appreciate that these events will have a significant impact on the local rural community and we are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or caught any vehicles or people on CCTV to come forward.”
The force warns the puppies may be sold cheaply online. Locals should watch out for Border Collie litters offered at suspiciously low prices.
